Anthony Squire

Chief Executive Officer

Anthony founded iPilot on the principles of:

  • providing a source for alternative cost-effective solutions for the benefits of clients;
  • applying technical and commercial skills of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural project delivery team;
  • leveraging market-leading technologies and products to secure operational efficiencies and cost savings; and
  • advancing Australian industry contribution across the value chain.

These foundations are built on Anthony's wealth of experience in the oil & gas and resources sectors. This has included senior executive experience in global sourcing, procurement, construction, fabrication and quality assurance to and with market leading companies including HESS, GE Oil & Gas, ALLSEAS, Sandvik and EDIF NDE.

Anthony previously founded and successfully established Proweld Training and Inspection, which provided technical solutions to global enterprises such as Chevron, WoodGroup PSG, Technip, and SNC Lavalin

Jaco Coetzer

Head of Operations

Jaco is a multi-skilled asset and project management engineering professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the mining, metals, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors.

Having worked for operators (Rio Tinto) and EPC and EPCM contractors (Sandvik, ThyssenKrupp etc), Jaco has developed a strong commercial focus for managing contracts for the design, fabrication, construction and commissioning and maintenance of strategic assets.

With extensive knowledge and experience in the implementation of Asset Reliability tools, Jaco has successfully delivered maintenance strategy programs and process plant hardware and software improvements.  This combined with Jaco’s extensive experience in the execution of capital projects, and his skills in creating and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors ensures that he is focussed on delivering projects on scope, on time and on budget.

Dr Yi Gong

Head of Engineering and Procurement

With over 25 years of engineering experience across research and development, consulting, delivery, and EP and EPC execution, in both Western and Chinese business contexts, Yi has a wealth of knowledge in:

  • project engineering and asset management;
  • procurement and supply chain management;
  • commercial and technical negotiations.

Yi was a senior manager with Rio Tinto for 14 years and undertook a range of strategic roles in project feasibility studies, procurement and contract management with Chinese suppliers, QA/expediting/logistics management, maintenance support, asset management and engineering.

iPilot clients can leverage Yi’s skill and experience in understanding, developing and executing tailored solutions across the entire supply chain.

Nicole Huang

Head of Finance

Nicole brings to iPilot extensive financial and project control experience to deliver statutory, internal and external performance reporting, financial planning and analysis, finance controls and policy frameworks.

Nicole is bi-lingual and has operated at senior levels in major listed and private companies in both China and Australia.

With a wealth of experience in multi-country transactions, Nicole provides strategic and financial leadership support to our sourcing, procurement and operations teams.

Allan Thompson

Head of Strategy and Business Development

Allan provides extensive strategy, business development and commercial experience to iPilot and our clients.

His former national business development role in Skilled Group provided significant exposure to the oil & gas, mining and construction sectors.  He has significant understanding of commonwealth and state government departmental operations, including in the areas of Aboriginal affairs and Native Title.

Allan’s experience also includes significant exposure to business start-ups, particularly in technology sector, and business planning experience. He has a range of Board and other experience in the not-for-profit sector.

Paul Buckman

Head of Business Administration, Quality and HSE Management

Paul has more than 20 years of executive leadership, management and Board roles in administration, business development, operations, quality, finance, training, events, and sales across the engineering, construction, transport, resources, technology, labour management, education, health, clubs and associations, and leisure and hospitality industries.

He has consulted and provided business owners and their management teams with strategic corporate development, business administration and strategy development advice.

With both owner and client side experience Paul has led teams across a range of business, operational and planning activities to ensure consistency and high quality outcomes in: tenders, audits and reviews, HSE, Quality management systems, marketing, operational and strategic planning, brand development, promotional plans, stakeholder engagement, and financial plans.
